VISA FOR BAHAMAS

U.S. passport holders and U.S. permanent residents do not need a visa for Bahamas for business or tourism, and may stay for up to 30 days.

To apply for a visa to Bahamas, please mail the following documents to our offfice:

ACTUAL PASSPORT
   

You must send your actual passport. The visa will be stamped on a page in your passport. Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity left beyond your intended stay in Bahamas, and must have at least TWO blank visa pages. Amendment pages do not count.

  FLIGHT ITINERARY
   

Provide a copy of your flight itinerary or copy of round trip tickets showing the entry and exit dates of Bahamas.
  PHOTOGRAPH
    Each applicant should submit one 2" x 2" passport type color photograph. The photograph should be of good quality and with a plain white background.

  BUSINESS LETTER (For business visa only)
    Business Letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

  PROOF OF U.S. STATUS
    Copy of valid U.S. visa.
  CONSULATE FEE
   
  • $55.00 per visa - For most nationalities
  SERVICE FEE
   
  • $50.00 per visa

The processing time usually takes four business days. In some cases, the application may be referred for approval and may take three weeks to process.

The processing time commences from the day the application submitted to the consulate. Saturdays, Sundays and consulate scheduled holidays do not count as processing days.
  RETURN FEDERAL EXPRESS
    $20.00 per address: Up to three passports
$25.00 per address: Four to six passports
$32.00 per address: Ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, or Saturday delivery
