VISA FOR BULGARIA

U.S. passport holders do not need a visa to go to Bulgaria for tourism or business, and can stay for 30 days.

The following are the requirements for non-U.S. passport holders to obtain a visa for Bulgaria:

FOR TOURIST VISA:

  1. Your valid passport. You must have at least 6 months of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay in Bulgaria. You must have at least one blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.

  2. One Visa Application Form for Bulgaria, completed in full. If the visa application is not completely filled out, signed and dated, we will not be able to submit your documents to the embassy, which will result in significant delays in the processing time.

  3. One 2" x 2" passport type photograph.

  4. Flight itinerary or copies of air tickets.

  5. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

FOR BUSINESS VISA, ALL OF THE ABOVE, BUT ADD:

  1. Letter of Invitation from company in Bulgaria.

  2. One Business Letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

Visa validity and length of stay are determined by the Embassy of Bulgaria.

CONSULATE FEE:

Single Entry, one week processing: $68.00
Single Entry, 24 hour processing: $88.00
Multiple Entry, 2 week processing: $123.00
Multiple Entry 24 hour processing: $153.00

SERVICE FEE:

Tourist: $39.00
Business: $39.00
Same or next day processing: $100.00

RETURN FEDERAL EXPRESS:

$20.00 per address (up to three passports)
$25.00 per address (four to six passports)
$32.00 per address (to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, or Saturday delivery)

We recommend that you send all of the required documents via a traceable, overnight delivery service, such as Federal Express.
