VISA FOR CHAD

The following are the requirements for a U.S. passport holder to obtain a visa to Chad:

FOR TOURIST VISA:

  1. Actual SIGNED U.S. passport. You must have at least 6 months of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay in Chad. You must have at least one blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.

  2. Three Visa Application Forms for Chad, completed in full. If the visa application is not completely filled out, signed and dated, we will not be able to submit your documents to the embassy, which will result in significant delays in the processing time.

  3. Three 2" x 2" passport type photographs.

  4. Proof of Vaccination Certificate for Yellow Fever.

  5. Confirmed Itinerary or copies of your round trip air tickets.

  6. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

FOR BUSINESS VISA, ALL OF THE ABOVE, BUT ADD:

  1. One Business Letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

VISA VALIDITY:

Tourist or business visa for Chad is usually valid for 30 days from date of issue, for a stay not to exceed 30 days.

CONSULATE FEE:

One Month Single Entry: $100.00 per visa
Three Month Multiple Entry: $150.00 per visa
Six Month Multiple Entry: $200.00 per visa
Processing Time: 4 Business Days
24 hour processing available for an additional $25.00 per visa to the embassy.

SERVICE FEE:

Tourist: $39.00
Business: $39.00
Same or next day processing: $100.00

RETURN FEDERAL EXPRESS:

$23.00 per address (up to three passports)
$28.00 per address (four to six passports)
$35.00 per address (to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, or Saturday delivery)
