VISA FOR EL SALVADOR

The following are the requirements for a U.S. passport holder* to obtain a visa to El Salvador:

FOR TOURIST VISA:

  1. Your valid U.S. passport. You must have at least 6 months of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay in El Salvador. You must have at least one blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.

  2. One Visa Application Form for El Salvador, completed in full. If the visa application is not completely filled out, signed and dated, we will not be able to submit your documents to the embassy, which will result in significant delays in the processing time.

  3. Two 2" x 2" passport type photographs.

  4. Flight itinerary or copies of your air tickets.

  5. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

FOR BUSINESS VISA, ALL OF THE ABOVE, BUT ADD:

  1. One Business Letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

VISA VALIDITY:

Tourist or business visa for El Salvador is issued for a single entry, valid for entry within 30 days from date of issue, for stay of up to 30 days.

CONSULATE FEE:

There is no consulate fee for U.S. passport holders.

SERVICE FEE:

Tourist: $39.00 per visa
Business: $39.00 per visa
Same or next day processing: $100.00 per visa

RETURN FEDERAL EXPRESS:

$20.00 per address (up to three passports)
$25.00 per address (four to six passports or overweight package)
$32.00 per address (to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, or Saturday delivery)
