VISA FOR KUWAIT

U.S. passport holders may obtain a visa for Kuwait upon arrival at any port of entry in the country.

The following are the requirements for a non U.S. passport holder to obtain a visa to Kuwait:

FOR TOURIST VISA:

  1. Your valid passport. You must have at least one year of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay in Kuwait. You must have at least one blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.

  2. Two Visa Application Forms for Kuwait, completed in full. If the visa application is not completely filled out, signed and dated, we will not be able to submit your documents to the embassy, which will result in significant delays in the processing time.

  3. Two 2" x 2" passport type photographs.

  4. Flight itinerary or copies of your round trip air tickets.

  5. A written request addressed to the Embassy of Kuwait concerned for a visa.

  6. Original visa approval obtained by sponsor in Kuwait.

  7. Proof of U.S. status, e.g. copy of green card or U.S. visa.

  8. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

FOR BUSINESS VISA:

  1. Your valid passport. You must have at least one year of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay in Kuwait. You must have at least one blank visa page. Amendment pages do not count.

  2. Two Visa Application Forms for Kuwait, completed in full. If the visa application is not completely filled out, signed and dated, we will not be able to submit your documents to the embassy, which will result in significant delays in the processing time.

  3. Two 2" x 2" passport type photographs.

  4. Flight itinerary or copies of your round trip air tickets.

  5. Original visa approval obtained by sponsor in Kuwait.

  6. One Business Letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

  7. Proof of U.S. status, e.g. copy of green card or U.S. visa.

  8. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

VISA VALIDITY:

Tourist or business visa for Kuwait is usually issued for multiple entries, valid for five years from date of issue, for stay of up to 30 days per entry.

EMBASSY FEE:

1 - 5 Year Multiple Entry: $24.00 per visa
Processing Time: 5 Business Days for Business Visa; 10 Business Days for Tourist Visa

SERVICE FEE:

Tourist: $39.00 per visa
Business: $39.00 per visa

RETURN FEDERAL EXPRESS:

$23.00 per address (up to three passports)
$28.00 per address (four to six passports or overweight package)
$35.00 per address (to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, or Saturday delivery)

We recommend that you send all of the required documents via a traceable, overnight delivery service, such as Federal Express.
