VISA FOR TANZANIA

To apply for a visa to Tanzania, please mail the following documents to:

FOR TOURIST VISA:

  1. Your valid U.S. passport. You must have at least 6 months of validity left on the passport beyond your intended stay in Tanzania. You must have at least TWO blank visa pages. Amendment pages do not count. Click here for details to add pages on existing passport, to renew a passport, or more.

  2. One Visa Application Form for Tanzania, completed in full. If the visa application is not completely filled out, signed and dated, we will not be able to submit your documents to the embassy, which will result in significant delays in the processing time.

  3. Two 2" x 2" passport type photographs.

  4. A copy of recent bank statement.

  5. Complete our Visa Processing Order Form.

FOR BUSINESS VISA, ALL OF THE ABOVE, BUT ADD:

  1. One Business Letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

EMBASSY FEE:

U.S. citizen - $100.00 per visa - Tourist/Business One Year Multiple Entry
Non U.S. citizen - $50.00 per visa - Tourist/Business Three Month Single Entry

Regular Processing: 10 business days
48 hour rush processing available for an additional $20.00 to the embassy.

SERVICE FEE:

Tourist: $29.00 per visa
Business: $29.00 per visa
48 hour processing: $75.00 per visa

RETURN FEDERAL EXPRESS:

$23.00 per address (up to three passports)
$28.00 per address (four to six passports or overweight package)
$35.00 per address (to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, or Saturday delivery)

We recommend that you send all of the required documents via a traceable, overnight delivery service, such as Federal Express.
